Frogs Forecast

News No Comments »

If the predicted dumps actually happen, I’d say there’s a fair chance of some chairlifts starting before the official ski season opening weekend (Queens Birthday weekend, 12th-14th of June).

Hmm, how cool would that be? Cheap tickets, no crowds, good snow…sweet!

From Snowatch

(updated @ 12:00pm Wednesday 5th May)

Mainly fine and mild conditions should continue until about the 16th, when a weak cooler change arrives with some showers/rain associated with it a first. Temps shold drop around the 17th/18th and we should see some good snowfalls, possible becoming widespread.

Long Range Outlook:
I like the look of the 22nd/23rd for some possible follow up snow. Further ahead I see early June looking promising with some prolonged cold weather and snowfalls likely around the 1st-3rd.

…..stay tuned to Snowatch for developments.
